Almost every fourth citizen voted early
1 million 629 thousand 191 citizen have attended polling stations during early voting period at the presidential election of the Republic of Belarus. This makes 23,1% of total number of citizens included in the election lists. This information has been presented to the BelaPAN news agency in the Central Election Commission.
Vitsebsk region has been the most active in early voting - 34,6% of voters have cast their ballots early. 18,8% voters have voted early in Brest region, 24,1% - in Homel region, 23,4% - in Hrodna region, 20,4% - in Minsk region, and 26,4% - in Mahileu region. The smallest number of voters who have cast their ballots early has been recorded in Minsk — 17,7%.
