Alyaksandr Mіlіnkevіch: “Democracy in Georgia is inevitable”
The European Radio for Belarus has asked Alyaksandr Milinkevich, the leader of the steering committee of the movement “For Freedom”, to comment on the recent events in Georgia.
The politician expressed his opinion about it:
“Of cause the best way to reach an agreement in political struggle is a dialogue. I am sure it would be much better if mass media were not closed down”.
However, there is an external index here. Many things are happening due to external help. It is a complicated situation…
I think that the future of the democracy in Ukraine and Georgia is very important for Belarus. I personally think that democracy in Georgia is already inevitable.
Everything that is happening will lead to the democratic way. Georgians will reach an agreement. I am sure”.
