American Zeltzer’s secretary released after year of imprisonment
Russian Vladlena Furs, secretary of US citizen Emmanuel Zeltzer, has been released from Homel women’s colony. The term of her sentence has ended.
Let us remind you that Zeltzer and Funk were detained in Minsk on March 12, 2008. Minsk City Court returned them guilty of using fake documents and commercial spying on August 11. The US citizen, Zelzer, was sentenced to three years of imprisonment and Funk – to 12 months. Belarusian Supreme Court did not change their sentence on October 31. All hearings were closed. According to Harachka, the convicts have not received copies of their sentences so far.
