Authorities are not going to compromise with private entrepreneurs
Private entrepreneurs have not managed to reach an agreement with the authorities on cancellation of one subparagraph of decree #760 according to which it is forbidden to hire employees other than your close relatives. After the head of the business department of the economy committee of Minsk City Executive Committee Alyaksandr Kalinouski had announced that the authorities would not make any concessions, entrepreneurs’ leaders left Kastrychnitskaya Square.
“That is the line of the country’s authorities, of the government, etc.”, - said Kalinouski. At first it was claimed that the government was preparing changes that would make the life of private entrepreneurs easier.
Private entrepreneurs are preparing a strike that is supposed to start on January 1. A republican meeting of entrepreneurs is planned to take place at Kastrychnitskaya Square of the capital on January 10.
