Autukhovich transferred from prison hospital to cell

Mikalai Autukhovich, an entrepreneur from Vaukavysk, has been transferred from a prison hospital in Minsk to a prison cell. According to his lawyer Pavel Sapelka, the cell contains 20 people and is overcrowded. He described the conditions in the cell as a torture for someone who is withdrawing from a hunger strike. He also noted that Autukhovich was placed into the common cell without additional checks and tests.

It was reported earlier that the entrepreneur continued to lose weight even after stopping his hunger strike. Doctors would always monitor his health condition, but no medics are around his client now, Sapelka said.

The lawyer said the prisoner eats vegetables and fruits only, avoiding the prison food.
