The average Belarusian wage was 836 thousand 980 roubles in April. By the way, it was 807 thousand 846 roubles in March, informs BelaPAN referring to the Ministry of Statistics and Analysis. The average wage of workers and office workers was 857 thousand 210 roubles in April (it was 829 thousand 305 roubles in March).
The average income per capita was 556.6 thousand roubles per month in the first quarter of 2008. It is about 259 USD. The average monthly income was 443.9 thousand rubles (207 USD) in the first quarter of 2007.
The quickest rate of income increase has been registered in Minsk (115.9%) and in Vitsebsk Region (111.7%). It was 104.9% in Hrodna Region and 106.3 – in Brest Region.
