Bakiev claims he is still in Belarus
Kurmanbek Bakiev claims he is still at the territory of Belarus. He said so to the correspondent of Kyrgyz "Radio Liberty" by phone. Thus he refuted recent information of a series of media, which claimed the ex-President of Kyrgyzstan had flown to Turkey together with Aliaksandr Lukashenka in the beginning of October.
To the question whether he conducted business in Belarus and what made his living he answered he had worked as a manager since 1985 and now had enough money to support his family.
Bakiev also refuted the information that he had allegedly financed the parties which got to the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan as a result of the elections on October 10, from abroad.
