Baradach: $200 thousand for video-record of Jury Zakharanka's murder

The former chief of the special forces brigade Uladzimir Baradach stated that he had been offered to buy a video-record of the general Jury Zakhapanka's murder for 200 thousand US dollars.  Baradach has informed in his interview to Radio Liberty, that he met with the sellers in 2003 in Minsk. They showed him several extracts of this record on the video-camera. One of them contained shots depicting Jury Zakharanka sitting in an armchair saying "You are following the criminal order, you will answer for this before the law".

Let us remind you, Jury Zakharanka was one of the opposition's leaders in late 1990s, he created the Officers' Union. He disappeared in May 1999. According to Baradach, the sellers of the video-record told him Zakharanka had been shot after the tortures.
