Baranavichy children’s library cannot buy books
Visitors of Baranavichy children’s library #3 situated in the Palace of Children’s Arts feel the lack of children’s books. The youngest visitors are suffering most.
According to the manager of the library Tatstsyana Mihalkevich, it used to take a whole day to register new books. Now it takes one hour.
Children’s books, even the slimmest ones, arrive in lots of two or three. People queue for them. Interestingly, the library having 2500 readers below the age of 15 spent only 150 thousand roubles on books out of the million it had made. The rest was spent on repairs of the building.
