Barouski still in confinement cell, his case to be sent to court soon
The General Office of Public Prosecutor of Belarus is preparing the materials of a criminal case against the former head of the “Belhaftahim” concern Alyaksandr Barouski to send them to the Supreme Court.
The Attorney General Pyotr Miklashevich informed about it at a press-conference in Minsk. According to him, Barouski is still in custody. The former head of “Belnaftahim” was detained on May 29.
He is accused of power abuse, theft and revealing official secrets. The losses caused by Barouski are about 1.6 million dollars.
