Bashura faces up to 3 years of imprisonment instead of previous 2
The Public Prosecutor's Office has clarified the accusation against Mikhas Bashura. The activist is now facing up to three years of imprisonment. The trial is taking place in Savetski district court of Minsk, reminds BelaPAN. Bashura has been accused of document forgery in order to get a privileged credit from the bank for building of accomodation. He claims himself not guilty. Bashura states he made the income certificate when the accountant and the director of the company he works for were out of office. The activist says he had no intention to conduct document forgery.
Now the Public Prosecutor's Office accuses Bashura of having forgered the certificate in order to pass it to another person. Previously they claimed he had filed the documents to the corresponding bodies himself.
