BCD activists to approach St.Joseph Church via underpasses

They will file a claim to the Public Prosecutor's office in the beginning of next week. Let us remind you that the organizers of the action in defense of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church were detained on the way to the place of the action on September 21. Among the detained there were the Co-Chairmen of the steering committee of the BCD Paval Sieviarynets, Vital Rymasheuski and others. All of them were released without charges. The Christian Democrats will file a claim to the Public Prosecutor's office right after they file the documents for registration of an initiative group to the Central Elections Commission. This was informed to the European Radio for Belarus by the Co-Chairman of the BCD Paval Sieviarynets.

Sieviarynets: "We will deal with these cases closely as soon as we clarify our electoral matters and file the documents for registration of an initiative group. I think we will do that in the beginning of the next week. We'll solve all the other issues more or less on Friday and on Monday we'll file these papers".

The politician joked they were going to approach the Church via underpasses to conduct actions in future. Let us remind you, that actions for return of the Roman Catholic Church and the Bernardines' Monastery to believers have been conducted in Minsk on a daily basis since September 16. The authorities plan to turn the Church into a hotel complex.
