Belarus artiste wins song contest in Malta

Aliaksei Krechet, 25 has received the first prize at the international song contest "Golden Cross" that took place in Malta. Belarus was for the first time represented at this event which aims to discover young talented singers.

Krechet performed a song titled "Yanka Kupala" and Queen's "I Want It All". Apart from the cash prize, the Belarusian received a statue of the Malta Knight, reports Belapan.
