Belarus catches up with Lithuania over fuel prices

The fuel pump prices on December 10 rose almost 5 percent at all the fuel stations across the country, writes Komsomolskaya Pravda v Belarusi.
This is the fourth time when fuel costs were raised this year. In Januaury, an average full tank (60 liters) could be refuled for Br110400. Today, you will have to pay Br127200.

Belarus is quickly catching up with the rest of Europe in terms of fuel prices. After the rise yesterday, the cost of fuel in Belarus is equal to the one in Lithuania (slightly more than $1 per one liter).

It is noteworthy that Belarus buys the Russian oil cheaper than our northern neighbors. Besides, the average monthly wage in Lithuania last July amounted to Euro 330. In Belarus, it is hardly getting close to Euro 250 as of December.
