Belarus consumers spent Br19bn during season holidays

Belarus consumers spent Br18.8 billion on Christmas tree decorations, carnival costumes, fir trees and New Year presents during the festive season, Belarus' deputy trade minister Iryna Narkevich told reporters. Consumers bought 4300 tons of cakes, sweets worth of Br47.2 billion, reports Interfax.

In the fourth quarter, 4.4 million bottles of Champaign and nearly 1.7 million pieces of New Year candy presents.
