Belarus did not ask Russia for new credit – source in Russian government
Belarus has not sent any official requests of one more state credit to Russia. An autonomous source in the Russian government had informed RIA “Novosti” about it before a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the union state of Belarus and Russia took place.
“Nobody mentioned the second part of the credit, it is too early to discuss it”, - an official claimed.
Let us remind you that an interstate agreement on allocation of a 1.5 billion dollar credit to Belarus was signed in Moscow on December 20.
After the document had been signed, the Russian vice Prime Minister Alyaksei Kudryn informed that Russia would consider the possibility of “helping” our country with one more credit that might reach 2 billion dollars.
Belarusian officials did not comment on his statement.
