Belarus firefighters reach Russia wildfires

The motorcade of fire-fighting and special vehicles from Belarus arrived in Russia's Ryazan region.  BELTA news agency reports our rescuers were accommodated at Myshchora camping site some 80 km off Ryazan. The Emergencies Ministry's team from Belarus will today be briefed aboyt their tasks. If necessary, the Belarusian firefighters will be deployed on other regions of Russia.

A rescue helicopter Mi-8 from Belarus, dispatched to fight wildfires in Russia, still remains landed at an airstrip near Moscow. It cannot take off due to bad weather.
