Belarus, Gazprom still in talks over gas price in 2008
Belarus and the Russian gas giant Gazprom have remained in talks over the price of the Russian gas for our country in 2008, Belarus deputy prime minister Ivan Bambiza told MPs when asked about the gas price in the second quarter of 2008, reports Interfax.
Bambiza declined to comment on a possibility that the price for the Russian gas in the first quarter would remain throughout the whole year.
On December 14, Gazprom confirmed that the price of gas for Belarus in the first quarter of 2008 would be fixed at $119 per 1000 cubic meters.
