Belarus hacker arrested in Czech Republic

The law-enforcement agencies in the United States have announced that Dzmitry Naskavets, a Belarus national, has been arrested in the Czech Republic. He is facing charges of over 2000 cases of stealing ID accounts and over 5000 cases of swindling on the internet. According to Electroname, Naskavets created and ran the CallService.biz web site which he used to steal credit card codes.

His partner Syarhei Syamashka was arrested in Belarus after the Lithuanian police busted the servers where the Belarusian hackers operated from.

If found guilty, Naskavets can be imprisoned for 39 years.
