Belarus hockey U-20 team celebrates first victory this season

Belarus junior hockey team defeated coevals from Denmark at the traditional tournament in memory of a former player of Latvia national team Sergei Zholtak in Riga on September 2, reports BelTA. The score of the match was 6:2. It was the first Belarusians’ victory in the new season. Our team was defeated in unofficial matches against Switzerland and Germany earlier. The Belarusian team also lost to Latvia team at Zholtak’s tournament.
Belarus national team will finish the tournament with a match against Russian hockey players today, on September 3.
