Belarus ice hockey team qualifies for 2010 Winter Olympics
Belarus national team has definitely qualified for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, after Canada thrushed Norway 8:2 in the quarter-finals at the Ice Hockey World Championship in Canada.
Belarus is ranked 9th in the world rating and is eligable to head to Vancouver without any additional qualification games. Only Norway had impossible theoretical chances of winning the bronze and thus replacing Belarus on this position. Russia will take on USA, while Swedes will clash with Canada in the semi-finals.
