Belarus imposes temporary ban on import of poultry from Crimea

The head of the chief department of veterinary medicine of the Ministry of Agriculture and Nutrition Alyaksandr Aksyonau informed about it.
The measure is caused by cases of bird flu registered in Ukraine the other day. The head of the veterinary medicine department informed that the limitation on import of products from the Crimea will be removed 6 months after the last case of bird flu is registered in the region.

As it was reported, a hotbed of bird flu H5N1 was registered on a Crimean farm on January 15.
