Belarus to introduce new driving permit in 2010
A new driving permit will cost Br30-35,000 ($15), reports Minsk Naviny news agency. The Interior Ministry has developed a new type of the driving permit. It will be a plastic card with the state-of-of-the-art protection features and the signature of the holder.
Traffic police offices will begin issuing the new permit from July 1, 2010. The driving licenses that were issued earlier will remain valid through the expiry date.
