Belarus invites Latvia to join nuclear power project

Belarus has proposed the Latvian energy company Latvenergo to consider a possibility of taking part in the construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant.  The invitation came from the Belarusian state-owned energy monopoly Belenergo, Latvenergo spokesman Andris Siksnis said in a statement. If Latvenergo joins the project, Latvia will be able to receive the power produced at the Belarusian nuclear plant, reports Ukraine Daily.
