Belarus to join Council of Europe's Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings

Belarus is working to join the Council of Europe's Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings. The country is planned to become a member of this international act by the end of the year. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has informed BelaPAN about it. Furthermore, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has initiated a project of the law against human trafficking. The police authorities claim that the law will use the best experience of the world practice and will systematize the country’s statutory acts against human trafficking.
