Belarus might introduce fees for fishing amateurs
Fishing fees might become a reality in Belarus. The country's ministry for natural resources says that nature protection laws should be brought in line with the European standards and brings fishing fees as an example.
Currently, fishermen have to pay fees for fishing at the majority of lakes which are located within national parks. Moreover, there is a limit of 5 kg fish per day. However, since there are nearly 10000 lakes and 20000 rivers in Belarus, it will be difficult to have all of them under control, reports Ezhednevnik.
