Belarus to mine oil in Gambia

Belarus is interested in mining mineral resources in Gambia, as informed by Belteleradiocompany.

This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Siarhej Martynau after signing of memorandum of understanding between Belarus and Gambia. According to Martynau, the countries can cooperate in the sphere of development of industrial basis, agriculture, technical and educational potential of Gambia, as well as in the field of assimilating of natural resources. The latest research with regard to oil producing is the most prospective. In his tiurn, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the West African country Mamadu Tangara underlined that they were also interested in development of agriculture.
