Belarus MPs to discuss amnesty legislation on April 16

The amnesty bill draft will be studied by Belarus legislators at the House of Representatives on April 16. Interior Minister Uladzimir Navumau hopes the legislation will be passed in the two readings. In that case, his ministry will have developped a set of amnesty measures by late April. Responding to a question from journalists about the funding of correctional facilities, Navumau said they have not been affected by the crisis, reports Interfax
