Belarus national missing in Siberian woods for 28 days (photo)

Rescue workers have so far failed to find Belarus national Alexander Shmidov who went missing in the taiga in the Krasnoyarskiy region of Russia on August 11, writes Komsomolskaya Pravda v Belarusi. Alexander was part of a tourist group that was trekking on a complex route in the Siberian woods. Rescuers said they were searching for the missing man with use of a helicopter. Five more people are combing through the impenetrable forest.
