Belarus national, wanted for murder, extradited from Egypt
A Belarusian citizen, wanted in Belarus for murder since 2005, has been extradited to the home country from Egypt. He was arrested by the police in October 2008, reports Belapan. In the night from August 31 to September 1, 2005 during a drunk quarrel, this man beat to death a local resident in the town of Rechitsa, Homel region. In the first half of 2008, 117 Belarus citizens were put on international search lists, including 92 wanted for felony offences and 25 missing. The location of 56 people was identified. 9 citizens were extradited back to Belarus.
