Belarus occupies 5th position in Europe judging by inflation rate

Judging by the increase of consumer prices since the beginning of the year, only Malta, Romania, Russia and Kazakhstan are ahead of Belarus, reports “Daily”. According to the analysis prepared by the Federal State Statistics Service, consumer prices have increased most in Malta – 5.5%. The Belarusian inflation rate has almost reached 4.5%. Cf.: the same index totals 2% in Lithuania, and less than 2% in Poland. Ireland is the only European country where consumer prices have decreased – 0.3%.
