Belarus officers to study only rare professions in Russia -- Lukashenka

Belarus must prepare military specialists mainly on its own, Aliaksandr Lukasahenka said yesterday when announcing new appoinments in the country's armed forces command. The head of the state noted officers should be trained at the Military Academy of Belarus, while "only rare military professions could be studied in Russia". BELTA news agency reports Lukashenka reminded about a need to renew the cadres, but stressed the departing officers should be treated "humanly and sincerely".
