Belarus officially invites OSCE observers to elections

The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affaires has sent official invitations to international observers of the parliamentary elections that will take place in Belarus on September 28, 2008.
According to BelaPAN, referring to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affaires, invitations have been sent to the Democratic Institutes and Human Rights Bureau of the OSCE and to the CIS Executive Committee. Furthermore, the Ministry informs that invitations have also been sent to the Interparliamentary assembly of CIS member states and to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
