Belarus officially refuses to take part in CSTO summit
The official Minsk has sent a note to the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization today, on June 14. It informs that the Belarusian delegation will not take part in the meeting of the CSTO. According to “Interfax”, the note explains that it is impossible to conduct negotiations about military security issues in the CSTO when one of the organization’s members undermines the economic security of another one.
The flight from Minsk to Moscow that was meant for representatives of the Belarusian delegation has also been cancelled. They were supposed to take part in meetings of representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affaires and secretaries of the Security Council.
