Belarus remains world tax burden 'leader'
Belarus has been the world tax burden leader for several years on end. According to the "Doing Business 2011" report, our country is in the last (183rd) position, reports the AFN. The document says that a Belarusian company has to pay 82 kinds of tax payments a year. Almost 800 hours is dedicated to it. At the same time, the average number of payments totals 40 in Europe and Central Asia and the time spent on it is a bit more than 300 hours.
The general rate of tax totals 80.4% of the income in Belarus and 41.2% - in Europe and Central Asia.
