Belarus to seek 32.6 mn euros from Eurasian economic community
The finance ministers of the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Community agreed during a meeting in Moscow on the amounts they can apply for to the bloc's anti-crisis fund. The Belta news agency reports that Belarus can count on 21 percent of the fund. Russia has the right for 37 percent; Kazakhstan -- 24 percent; Armenia -- 13 percent; Kyrgyzstan -- 3 percent; Tadjikistan --2 percent. The bloc's anti-crisis budget in 2010 is $8,550,000,000.
Russian finance minister Alexei Kudrin said that Kyrgyzstan has already applied for a loan of $160 million. Belarus is reportedly seeking a loan of 32.6 million euros.
