Belarus tourists stranded in Thailand
50 Belarusian tourists remain stranded in Thailand, reports the ONT television channel. The flight from a Thai airport has been postponed indefinitely. Bangkok's two major airports, captured by opposition protesters, have remained unoperational. Over 100,000 tourists from around the world are unable to fly out of Thailand. The only operational airport Utapao is truggling to handle a huge flow of passengers.
According to the Thai government, if airports work in the same mode, over one month will be required to dispatch all the passengers.
Nevertheless, there are no reports that a flight from Minsk to Thailand has been cancelled. Another group of Belarusian tourists was scheduled to depart for Thai resorts on December 1.
