Belarus TV: German intelligence spies on Belarus defense

German intelligence has stepped up spying on the military cooperation between Belarus and Russia, Belarust TV's First Channal reported on Wednesday night in the documentary film Network. The film also highlights the operation of international humanitarian funds and institutes in Belarus and CIS countries, reports Interfax. In Network, authors portray a certain Henasz Bedunkevich, described as a Belarus Air Force Colonel who was granted political asylum in Germany. He is also named as a member of the opposition Social Democratic Party and the leader of a human rights organization. The footage was allegedly taped by the German intelligence in a filtration camp on the territory of Germany, according to the Belarusian state TV.

Bedunkevich is seen answering questions about the possible deployment of nuclear warheads of the territory of Belarus, about the location of the reserved strategic missile sites, about the thermovision devices at the Belarusian border guard troops and about the restricted military guarrisons. The questioning also focused on the issues of military cooperation between Belarus and Russia.

The Belarusian Television also said in the video that international humanitarian funds and institutes operate as "knots of the network to spread the viruses of velvet revolutions and the money for their implementation".

According to Belarus TV, US has allocated $27.5 million and EU has earmarked Euro14 million for the undermining activities during the parliametary elections in Belarus in 2008.
