Belarusian and Russian PMs may discuss gas price issue today

The Belarusian and Russian Prime Ministers Syarhei Sidorski and Vladimir Putin may discuss the prices of the Russian gas for Belarus during the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State in Moscow today, informs BelaPAN.
The current contract with “Gazprom” will expire in 2010. According to the document, Belarus will have to pay the European price for gas excluding the transportation difference and 30% of the customs duty.

Minsk and Moscow were going to switch to market prices together in 2011. However, the Russian administration postponed the term for domestic enterprises until 2014 in connection with the crisis. Belarus insists that the term should also be postponed for it.
