Belarusian authorities stop cooperation with Lord Bell’s company
The Belarusian authorities will not continue cooperating with a British PR company Bell Pottinger Group that worked on the creation of a positive image for the state leader Alyaksandr Lukashenka.
The head of the company Timothy Bell informed EU Observer that the term of the contract (12 months) signed at the end of August 2008 has ended. He withheld other comments.
EU Observer notes that the decision to stop the cooperation is connected with Lukashenka’s intention to deal with his image on his own. It is also informed that it was Lord Bell who advised the Belarusian leader to attend official events with his youngest son Kolya.
