Belarusian Culture Institute to start working this year
Belarusian Culture Institute will start working this year, informs BELTA. The Institute of Culture is being created on the basis of the Institute of Advance Training and Continuing Education of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts.
The Institute sets its goal as wide presentation of Belarusian culture abroad, as well as close cooperation with Belarusians abroad. The Institute plans to elaborate a program "Belarusians in the world" in the near future.
Among the obligations of the Institute there are maintainance of the activity of the Commission at the premises of the Council of Ministers on discovering, returning, mutual use and introduction into scientific and cultural turnover of national values, located abroad, as well as the issues of protection of historical-cultural heritage.
