Belarusian cyclist wins starting stage of Tour of the Mediterranean

A 26-year-old Belarusian cyclist Yauheni Hutarovitch has won the starting stage of a many-day road bicycle racing event The Tour of Mediterranean. He left behind a Frenchman William Bone and a Kazakhstan cyclist Maxim Iglinski, notes “Pressball”. Thanks to the victory in the starting stage, the Belarusian champion has managed to top the point and general tables of the race.
The six-day French race the Tour of the Mediterranean (first category) is one of this month’s most prestigious races.
