Belarusian electric power stations may become private

A bill admitting private property in the power industry is being elaborated in Belarus.
The senior deputy Prime Minister Uladzimir Syamashka has informed about it making a speech in the Parliament. According to him, the bill is going to be presented to the House of Representatives in the near future.

Syamashka noted that attracting foreign investments was necessary in connection with the fact that it would be necessary to invest 32 billion dollars in the development of the power industry by 2020.

Furthermore, the Parliament will soon have to sign the draft on development of small-scale and unconventional power industry. It admits that small electric power stations may be private, reports BelaPAN.
