Belarusian Independent Bloc starts selecting single candidate
The council of the BIB has taken a unanimous decision to elaborate a mechanism of selecting a single BIB presidential contender.
“Belarusian Partisan” reminds that besides members of the coalition, the co-leader of the BCD Vital Rymasheuski claimed about his desire to run for President. Nobody doubts that the leader of the movement “For Freedom” Alyaksandr Milinkevich will also join the presidential election campaign. He promised to announce his participation or nonparticipation officially in May 2010. A meeting of the BNF party has also been appointed for May – the party may decide to select a party presidential contender.
According to Rymasheuski, the BIB candidate may become a single opposition candidate.
