Belarusian sportsmen have won 145 Olympic licenses

Belarusian sportsmen have already won 145 licenses allowing them to take part in the Olympics in Peking. According to the Minister of Sport Alyaksandr Hryharau, they won them in 16 sports. Qualification tours in 7 of them are over and still continue in nine of them. In general, our sportsmen are supposed to win 180-200 licenses in 22-23 sports.

National teams are preparing for the Games in Peking in 25 kinds of sport. There is not a single license in nine of them at the moment.

Let us remind you that Belarus was represented by 151 sportsmen in 23 sports in Greece four years ago. Belarusians won 15 medals (2 gold, 6 silver and 7 bronze medals) there.
