Belarusian Union of Poles refutes Lukashenka’s accusations

The head of the Belarusian Union of Poles unrecognized by the Belarusian authorities Anzhalika Borys refutes that her organization is engaged in political activities. Alyaksandr Lukashenka personally accuses the union of it. "Parliamentary elections were held last year and the Belarusian Union of Poles did not take part in any elections in Belarus. Its position is apolitical both in our country and in Poland. We have never supported, do not support and will never support any candidate of a political party”, - said Borys in an interview with the Polish radio.

The head of the BUP also noted that there were people with different political views in the party and it only made it stronger.
