Belarusians win fifth medal at first Junior Olympics
Alena Navahrodskaya has won a silver medal in hammer-throwing, informs the Belarusian Broadcasting Company.
The 17-year-old sportswoman threw the hammer to the distance of 57 metres and 34 centimetres. Navahrodskaya is unlikely to be satisfied with the silver medal as she performed better in the qualification round. According to the preliminary results, the Belarusian took the first position; however, she could not repeat her success twice.
