BNF administration summoned to Office of Public Prosecutor because of “auto-referendum”
Almost all the admisniatrtion of the BNF party have been summoned to the Office of the Public Prosecutor . The reason for it is the party’s suggestion to conduct “an auto-referendum”. The head of the party Alyaksei Yanukevich has informed ERB about it. Yanukevich: "I am heading for the Office of the Public Prosecutor just like some other members of the initiative group today. The check-up is taking longer than expected. I know they have summoned Vadzim Kanapetski and Ihar Lyalkou. They also asked me if I could find Victar Ivashkevich. I replied: “You need him, so it’s you who should look for him”.
The Office of the Public Prosecutor would like to know whether members of the initiative group organized a meeting dedicated to the auto-referendum, how they attested signatures, whether people gave their signatures personally and how they got to know about the initiative.
Let us remind you that the Central Election Commission has to reply whether the initiative group of the auto-referendum will be registered or not on May 4.
