Brest region to have "most transparent" election
All the ballot-boxes at the election precincts in Stolin district on December 19 will be transparent.
The local district executive committee has bought ballot-boxes made of organic glass and plastic for all the 74 election precincts as an experiment. The boxes are of standard size (80х50х40 cm) and have been produced by one of the private enterprises in the village Fiadory.
Transparent ballot boxes will be installed in 235 election precincts in Brest region - this is the best result in the country, informs the Brest newspaper "Viachorka".
However, early voting is conducted with traditional wooden boxes.
