Builders threaten to go on hunger strike in Horky

Eight Homel builders have sent a complaint to the head of the Region Barys Batura and the head of the labour inspectorate. They complained about their low wages and said they were ready for a hunger strike. The workers are reconstructing a hostel in Horky and are paid about 300 thousand BRB per month. They mention their full employment and high qualification.

“The money is not enough to buy food, and many of us have families and children – how can we face them and what should we explain them?”, - is said in the appeal of the builders.
